Lash Low Down

Lashes. We ALL wish ours were longer, thicker, fuller, darker. The bigger, the better! There is just something about gorgeous lashes, framing the eye, that is so uniquely feminine. Mascara is every girl’s best friend, but not every girl can get the voom she wants from mascara alone. When it’s time for a night out, or a special event, false lashes are a must. It’s no wonder every bride is requesting them for 2012. Not only do they make you look and feel glamorous for that one special evening, they help to capture your eyes in a photo, and photos can last more than a lifetime.

NYE Sparkle

I may not have a glamorous dress or shiny new pumps to ring in the new year with, but I always have a good stash of my favorite beauty products ready to go! Let’s face it, no matter what you’re wearing, as long as your skin is glowing and your best features are shining bright, you’ll be the most beautiful woman in the room. For a night out on the town, I love bright colored lips and bronze eyes, BIG lashes and flushed cheeks. Be dramatic. And remember, for New Year’s always add lots of sparkle.

Winter Beauty

I did not intend at first to start a blog for my Kiss & Makeup. However, a new year is just around the corner, and with it will come some unexpected things from us. Enjoy!

My newest inspiration comes from the recently released movie The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo. Set in Sweden, the movie is dark and cold. Rooney Mara is my winter beauty obsession. She is the complete definition of an unexpected gorgeous girl. Her skin is pale white, she has dark heroine chic eyes and thin lips. Her style is grungy, her hair jet black. I have no idea how this girl makes this look so appealing. Here are few items I recommend to get this cold winter look at home.
